The society of the poor sisters of our lady was founded on September 15 1939 in Bombay. a Motto and spirit is contained in the words "I am among you as one who serves ( LK 22:27)
Education is undertaken by us with a view to the total development of the individual- intellect, spiritual, physical ,psychological cultural ,social ,and emotional the training them to be effective citizens of tomorrow.
To prepare young man and women who will respect each others dignity, and uphold justice, truth and equality thereby helping to build a truly human society.
Love and humility go hand in hand. This will help to bring about a change of heart in persons turning them from selfish and competitive ambitions to unconditional generosity to God and their fellow beings as Jesus and Mary have taught us.
In keeping with a motto we shall impart joyful service to a fellow beings especially the poor and down trodden, oppressed and marginalised respective of caste colour and greed so us to attain lasting happiness.
